K2 Entry Point: Healthy Habits

K2 students recently began an engaging journey with their new IEYC unit, Healthy Habits. This unit introduces the importance of maintaining healthy bodies and building positive routines.

The “K2 Entry Point” started this learning adventure with interesting, hands-on activities. Students from K2A and K2B explored topics like balanced nutrition, proper hygiene, and physical activity through stories, songs, and interactive play. K2A students enjoyed games that highlighted healthy choices, while K2B created artwork showcasing the benefits of clean habits and nutritious meals. These activities encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a deeper understanding of wellness concepts.

The children participated in practising handwashing, learning about food groups, and doing simple exercises. Their enthusiasm throughout the activities reflected how much they enjoyed this meaningful learning experience.

Below are pictures of the fun moments from the K2 Entry Point, capturing the students' engagement and excitement.

As this unit continues, K2 students will build on these foundational concepts, developing habits that promote health and well-being both at school and at home.
